Join us for a week celebrating all the ways in which stories and legends are told within the Palace walls.

Colourful Cross-stitch Tales: Discover how Mary, Queen of Scots – and many historic women – created beautiful images in cloth. Try your hand at cross-stitching, inspired by the legendary figures and fantastical scenes in the hanging tapestries throughout the Palace.

Story Writing Trail: Use this booklet to get creative as you journey through the Palace. Look around you at the portraits, artwork and architecture to help form your own ideas of a character, setting and plot. Take this away to write your own story or legend back at home!
